For over thirty-five years, The Corcoran Group has exemplified a steadfast commitment to service, creativity and hard work. The company was founded in 1973 as New York City began an historic transition from being a market predominately composed of rentals to one of individual ownership. Corcoran grasped the implications of this change by targeting specific neighborhoods and concentrating on higher-end properties. With that strategy, we quickly rose to prominence and thanks also to the acquisition of major real estate companies in Manhattan and Brooklyn, today we are the largest residential real estate firm in New York City.

Beginning in 2003 we started expanding our reach into other key luxury markets, acquiring leading firms in both the Hamptons and the South Florida. Today we boast a total of 42 offices and over 2,200 agents. Corcoran agents have generated over $18 billion in sales annually.
Always striving for innovation, in 1995 The Corcoran Group launched one of the first real estate websites, corcoran.com. Today, it is an award-winning industry resource, attracting more than 4 million visitors per month and producing more sales than any other website in residential real estate.
Tracking sales for over thirty years has also provided us with an unparalleled database. With that resource underlying our research, we proudly publish The Corcoran Report, one of the first real estate market research reports. It provides a thorough analysis of market trends by size and types of housing and neighborhoods. The Corcoran Report's sales statistics and timely market data have long been recognized as the most accurate and reliable in the industry.
The reach of the Corcoran organization stretches beyond our own markets thanks to the Cartus Mobility Network, the nation's largest real estate referral organization comprised of more than a third of the top 500 brokerages in the United States as well as six global service centers on four continents.
