With a background in home furnishings and home accessories managing his own manufacturer's rep sales organization, Jim made the jump to real estate when he became a Brooklyn homeowner in 1999 after years as a confirmed Manhattanite. Now the goal, in teaming with Sue Wolfe at Corcoran, is to see that each of their clients finds the perfect brownstone, co-op, or condo in Brownstone Brooklyn, just as he has...and to find the perfect purchasers for every property entrusted to them to sell.

In Jim's words: "I try to treat each client, buyer or seller, exactly as I would want to be treated, listening and responding to each ones individual needs and understanding that the sale or purchase of a home is momentous. I am there to assist and advise, not direct, a subtle difference. The process is about the client, matching their desires to the perfect property or buyer, and not about me. It's a serious process with a serious purpose, but my goal is to make it efficient, effective, and, importantly, enjoyable."

Jim has been active in the Boerum Hill Association, his home neighborhood, on the biannual Boerum Hill House & Garden Tours. An inveterate "foodie" he loves spending his spare time cooking, checking out the ever expanding Brooklyn restaurant experience, maintaining his roof garden, and actively exploring New York's art scene.
